Want to find out more about how we can spend the Christmas season helping those less fortunate than us? KCL ASEAN and CUSEAS are proud to present this exclusive panel event with the Children of the Mekong, where we invite those involved with the industry to share their experiences and, more importantly, what we can do to help them.
Taking place this Saturday (4th December) on Zoom at 14:00 GMT, come and join us if you're interested in finding out more about what sort of work can be done and how you can be a part of the process! Sign up via the form here: https://forms.gle/qmqvUzQ4s21XKVy18
Joining us are our wonderful speakers: Julie and Etienne, who manage the Children of the Mekong centre in Samrong, and Eugenie, who is COO of the UK branch of 'Enfants du Mekong' and has years of experience in NGOs.
In the meantime, don't forget to pre-order your tote bags for our social event, where all proceeds will also go to Children of the Mekong!
Children of the Mekong is a charity based in London that seeks to support disadvantaged youth in Southeast Asia through providing support, training and education to help secure their future. Their past projects have included building infrastructure and improving living conditions, as well as making youth aware of their different career opportunities open to them. Many of their projects have been a resounding success - you can find out more at their website: www.childrenofthemekong.org or on their social media accounts @childrenofthemekong.
